Mickael Pietrus Guarantees Celtics Will Win NBA Championship (Video)

An athlete's confidence can go a long way towards helping performance on the field or court. When that confidence is justified, it can be deadly for opponents.

Then there are moments when confidence cannot be explained as anything other than confusion. Boston swingman Mickael Pietrus had one such moment Saturday when he guaranteed the seventh-place Celtics would win the NBA Championship in 2012.

As it stands, the Celtics would face the Miami Heat in the first round of the playoffs, and its very likely they would be overmatched. Pietrus seems confident, though one has to wonder where he gets it from. Maybe he knows something Celtics fans don't.
