After having a big year as one of the few bright spots on the Red Sox roster, Cody Ross is looking to cash in.
The outfielder is asking for a three-year deal worth up to $25 million, according to ESPN’s Buster Olney.
Ross, 31, hit .267 with 22 homers and 81 RBIs in 130 games in 2012. The Sox declined to extend him a qualifying offer of $13.3 million for next season.
In Cody Ross’s talks with the Red Sox, his side was looking for something in the 3-year, $25 million range.
