The Darrelle Revis–Richard Sherman feud is turning into one of the most entertaining storylines of the NFL offseason.
When Revis — widely considered the top cornerback in the league over the past few season — went down with a knee injury just two games into 2012, Sherman stormed onto the scene, earning first-team All-Pro honors and proving himself as the leader of a dominant Seattle secondary.
The second-year Seahawk has been sure to let Revis know about his success, too, boasting repeatedly on Twitter and through the media that he has taken the torch as the NFL’s top lockdown defensive back. Revis had kept mostly quietly on the issue until Wednesday afternoon, when he tore into Sherman with a flurry of tweets, highlighted by his assertion that the loud-mouthed Stanford product “[runs] his mouth so much like a girl.”
Check out the corner’s anger boiling over in the tweets below, and see Sherman’s response at the end.
