As expected, Mike Wallace is taking his talents to South Beach.
ESPN’s John Clayton reports that the free-agent wideout has agreed to a five-year, $65 million contract with the Dolphins, pending a physical. Miami has been rumored in the last few days as the front-runner to land Wallace, and the team reportedly made the deal official shortly after the opening of free agency on Tuesday.

Wallace’s deal would make him the third-highest paid receiver in the NFL behind Calvin Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald. The 26-year-old has spent his entire four-year career in Pittsburgh, averaging 58.75 catches and eight touchdowns per season and earning a Pro Bowl selection in 2011.
