John Axford wasted no time putting himself out there after being non-tendered by the Cardinals on Tuesday night.
The right-handed reliever passed over the Ben & Jerry’s and went straight to the personals, posting one of his own on Twitter just a couple hours after becoming a free agent.
The MST (Man Seeking Team) didn’t ask for much either, with no hefty contract demands listed in his 140 characters, Axford revealed that he’s simply looking for a “loving team” that also shares his fondness for mustaches and movies.
Sounds like a keeper, MLB teams in need of bolstering their bullpen.
