A little snow doesn’t bother Joique Bell — he was born and raised in Michigan, after all.
The fourth-year running back led the Lions in both rushing and receiving yards during Sunday’s in Philadelphia, much of which was played under legitimate blizzard conditions. The ankle-deep snow didn’t stop Bell from showing off his athleticism, which he displayed by leaping clear over Eagles safety Nate Allen on a 28-yard catch-and-run.
Detroit built a 14-0 lead midway through the third quarter, but the Eagles offense came alive as the weather began to clear up. LeSean McCoy rushed for a team-record 217 yards on 29 carries, and Philadelphia scored 28 points in the final quarter en route to a 34-20 win.
