Joel Embiid picked the wrong time to get hurt, but that did not stop him from having a little fun.
The forward suffered a stress fracture in his foot that will require surgery just a week before the NBA draft. Even with his spectacular freshman season at Kansas in 2013-14, his draft stock has a chance to drop because of the severity of the injury.
Despite the ramifications of the fracture, Embiid is taking it all in stride and even snapped a selfie before his surgery on Friday.

Embiid will find out his NBA fate June 26 at the draft in Brooklyn, N.Y., Who knows, maybe he’ll snap a selfie with commissioner Adam Silver when he gets selected.
