Dayton Kicker Recovers Fumble, Scores Touchdown On His Own Kickoff (Video)
William Will was living the kicker’s dream Saturday.
The Dayton kicker came up with a fumble and returned it 26 yards into the end zone on his own kickoff in the second quarter against Marist. The score put Dayton ahead 28-14 in the Flyers’ eventual 31-21 victory.
Will made all four of his extra-point attempts, as well as a 25-yard field goal, which was good enough to earn him FCS Pioneer League special teams player of the week honors.
