Marseille Coach Marcelo Bielsa Sits On Scalding Cup Of Coffee (GIF)

Marcelo Bielsa has a reputation as one of the most hot-tempered coaches in the soccer world.

Bielsa’s patience was put to the test Sunday in an unexpected way during Olympique Marseille’s 2-0 win over Toulouse in Ligue 1 (French first division).

Bielsa, Marseille’s head coach, was walking around his technical area when he decided to sit on a nearby cooler. However, Bielsa didn’t know that someone had put a cup of hot coffee on the cooler seconds before he sat down.

It’s easy to guess (correctly) what happened next.

Bielsa, 59, reacted with predictable fury, even though he didn’t know which one of his assistants put the cup there.

After the game, Bielsa joked about the coffee incident.
