Ken Williamson had a rough start to his day Saturday.
Williamson, an SEC referee, got a great assignment this week as the head referee of a clash between No. 6 Texas A&M and No. 12 Mississippi State. However, the nerves may have gotten the best of him early in the nationally televised showdown.
Williamson had a tough time figuring out which way to face when calling a penalty in the first half. Referees are supposed to face a certain sideline in order for the TV cameras to capture them, but Williamson ended up looking the wrong way.
He ended up getting very flustered.
