Mark Sanchez and the Philadelphia Eagles devoured the Carolina Panthers on Monday night, and after the game, Sanchez chowed down on a Philly staple.
Sanchez was highly effective in the Eagles’ 45-21 rout of the Panthers, as he picked up the win in his first start since 2012. The former New York Jets quarterback pledged he’d celebrate a win by crushing some Philly cheesesteaks, and he lived up to that promise after the game.
Sanchez apparently worked up quite a hunger, as he dropped by two of Philadelphia’s famous cheesesteak joints — Pat’s and Geno’s — and grabbed a steak from both.

The irony of Sanchez finding success in Philadelphia after a guy named Geno took over for him in New York might be the best part of the entire story.
