Denny Hamlin needed a hug after coming up short of a Sprint Cup title Sunday. Fortunately for him, Michael Jordan was there.
Kevin Harvick placed first in NASCAR’s final race of the season at Homestead-Miami Speedway, securing the first Sprint Cup championship of his 14-year career. Hamlin, who finished seventh in the race and third in the final championship standings, was feeling a bit down about the loss.
Jordan, a six-time NBA champion and one of Hamlin’s sponsors, consoled his buddy after the race.

Hamlin is still looking for his first Sprint Cup title. Jordan, on the other hand, didn’t need many hugs during his career.
