Fight Night Barueri Main Event Results
Showing off the precision striking that has become his trademark, Brazilian middleweight contender Lyoto Machida ended the final UFC event of 2014 quickly and decisively Saturday night, knocking out C.B. Dollaway in just 62 seconds at the Ginasio Jose Correa in Barueri, Brazil.

After the two tentatively circled each other as the fight opened, Machida’s first significant strike, a left kick to the body, stunned Dollaway and sent him reeling into the fence. Belem, Brazil’s Machida followed with a barrage of punches, and Dollaway hit the deck, with another unanswered series of strikes bringing in referee Jerin Valel to halt the bout.

Fight Night Barueri Main Card Results
In Saturday night’s UFC Fight Night co-main event at the Ginasio Jose Correa in Barueri, Brazil, former UFC bantamweight champion Renan Barao got back in the win column in his first fight since losing his crown to T.J. Dillashaw in May, submitting Mitch Gagnon in the third and final round.

Gagnon got off to a fast start, moving in and out and staying busy on the feet, but midway through the round, Barao began sitting down on his strikes, raising a welt on the leg of Gagnon with his thudding leg kicks. Gagnon landed his share of hard shots in return, but it was Barao who landed the biggest one of the round, dropping the Canadian with a left hook in the final minute.

Fight Night Barueri Preliminary Results
Sao Paulo light heavyweight Marcos Rogerio de Lima didn’t get out of the Octagon in 20 seconds like he did in his May debut against Richardson Moreira, but he did go home early in his UFC Fight Night preliminary bout at the Ginasio Jose Correa in Barueri, Brazil, knocking out Igor Pokrajac in under two minutes Saturday night.

Locking up immediately, de Lima bulled Pokrajac to the fence and went to work with punches to the body as he kept the Croatian from getting loose. With 3:15 remaining, referee Fernando Yamasaki broke the stalled action and restarted the fight. As soon as the two were separated, a fight broke out, with Pokrajac landing a crisp right hand to the jaw. But in the midst of the ensuing exchange, Pokrajac got clipped and sent to the deck. A couple more shots from de Lima landed and Yamasaki intervened at the 1:59 mark, with Pokrajac protesting the stoppage.
