It’s almost a new year, and in the NHL, that means it’s almost time for the Winter Classic.
This year, the Chicago Blackhawks and Washington Capitals are squaring off at Nationals Park on New Year’s Day. But not too long ago, there was ice on the field at Fenway Park.
One player on the Toronto Maple Leafs might be having some flashbacks of that 2010 Winter Classic in Boston when his team takes on the Bruins at TD Garden on New Year’s Eve. A handful of current Bruins were there for the matchup with the Philadelphia Flyers, but just one Maple Leafs player was there for the action.
