Dez Bryant’s Sensational Catch Overturned After Packers Challenge (Video)

Dez Bryant almost made one of the greatest catches in NFL playoff history Sunday afternoon.

Almost.

With the Dallas Cowboys facing a fourth down with less than five minutes remaining in their divisional-round matchup with the Green Bay Packers, Tony Romo lofted a bomb down the left sideline to Bryant.

The wide receiver skied over Packers cornerback Sam Shields to snatch the ball, setting up what appeared to be a 1st-and-goal for the Cowboys inside Green Bay’s 1-yard line.

Dallas’ elation was short-lived, however. Packers coach Mike McCarthy challenged the ruling, and referee Gene Steratore determined that Bryant had not controlled the ball all the way to the ground.

What do you think?  Leave a comment.

Thus, the Cowboys, who trailed by five at the time, turned the ball over on downs, and Bryant simply could not believe it.

The Packers were able to run the clock out on the ensuing possession, punching their ticket to the NFC Championship Game with a 26-21 victory.
