James Harden has 33 blocks this season, but his biggest rejection came before a game Thursday night.
The Houston Rockets guard was trying to get his pregame preraration in before a game against the New York Knicks.
That’s when some random kid decided to make his way to the scorer’s table and try to score a selfie with Harden. With all the likes, retweets and mentions flashing through his head, the kid desparately tried to set himself up in the perfect selfie position.
The only problem? Harden was having absolutely none of it. The result was a hilariously awkward video.
Luckily for the fan, he ended up getting something. He was able to catch Harden looking at the right time (Harden looks thrilled) and it turned into the much-desired selfie.

He then proceeded to spend the next 24 hours or so informing probably every single media outlet that wrote about the interaction that he indeed got the selfie.
