Rory McIlroy just found out there’s a first for everything.
McIlroy, the world’s top-ranked golfer, has carved out a very successful PGA career to this point, yet he had never hit a hole-in-one until Friday. The 25-year-old aced the par-3 15th hole at the Abu Dhabi Championship en route to a second-round 66.
McIlroy’s milestone hole-in-one was the third of the tournament.
