Urban Meyer must have known Oregon won its College Football Playoff game, but it’s clear he had no idea about the magnitude of that win.
Meyer led Ohio State to a surprising win over top-ranked Alabama in the nightcap of the semifinals Thursday, earning a spot in the national championship game, where the Buckeyes will take on the Ducks, who rolled to a 59-20 win over Florida State.
Shortly after Ohio State’s win in the Sugar Bowl, Meyer was asked if he had any thoughts about Oregon’s 40-point win (or 39), and his reaction was priceless.
