Brandon Browner, as expected, is drawing plenty of interest on the open market.
The free-agent cornerback is visiting the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday, and he’s set to visit the Washington Redskins next, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported. Browner became a free agent Tuesday when the New England Patriots declined to pick up his $2 million roster bonus.
The Patriots also declined to pick up cornerback Darrelle Revis’ $20 million option, and the All-Pro subsequently signed with the New York Jets on Tuesday, drawing the ire of New England fans.
Browner started nine regular-season games with the Patriots last season and all three postseason mathups. The 30-year-old had one interception and seven pass deflections.
