Roy Halladay sure is good at this whole Twitter thing.
The two-time Cy Young winner and former Toronto Blue Jays star tweeted a pretty funny jab Monday toward New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez.

Yankees fans on Twitter, of course, were quick to point out that A-Rod has Halladay’s number (and that Halladay’s grammar isn’t great). Rodriguez posted a career .299 average against Halladay from 1999 to 2009, though he only managed one home run off the right-hander.
Still, Halladay had a response for the naysayers.

The answer to that question is 18-7 in 38 appearances (36 starts).
Halladay has made headlines for his Twitter use before, most recently for secretly snapping a photo with an unsuspecting fan who was wearing his jersey. So here’s to hoping he has more A-Rod jokes up his sleeve, too.
