Bill Burr grew up in Canton, Mass., and is an avid support of the Boston Bruins. So when he needed to promote a couple of upcoming shows in Montreal, he decided to have some fun with Canadiens fans.
The comedian tweeted out a presale code Wednesday for a comedy Festival in July, and it’s sure to make any Habs fans who are interested in going cringe.

There’s no word as to whether the code is in the spirit of April Fools’ Day or if it’s just a well-timed coincidence, but either way, Burr is in the running for the best joke of the day.
