Didier Drogba and six of his Chelsea teammates heard those voices who call their brand of soccer “boring.” The Blues now have shot back … literally.
Drogba and his cohorts sunk a trick shot Tuesday during a light-hearted moment at Chelsea’s practice facility. Drogba recorded the shot and subsequent jubilant celebration and posted it to his Instagram account.
Branislav Ivanovic started the sequence with a throw-in of sorts. Drogba, John Terry, Thibaut Courtois, Eden Hazard, and Loic Remy headed a ball back and forth across the table before John Obi Mikel headed it into a garbage bin.

Drogba included the caption “Boring boring chelseaaa!!!!!” — presumably in response to critics, who don’t appreciate Chelsea’s pragmatic and effective style as much as the Blues’ fans do.
