James Rodriguez has done it again.

James scored a stellar goal for Real Madrid on Wednesday in its 3-0 win over Almeria in La Liga (Spain’s first division). James’ latest goal, a powerful volley, reminded the soccer world of his wonder-strike at the 2014 FIFA World Cup last summer.

Real Madrid was struggling to break down Almeria’s defense when Rodriguez darted toward the visitors’ penalty area in the 44th minute. The Colombian star timed his run so well that he was able to strike the ball of the bounce straight into the top corner of the goal.

James’ goal sparked Real Madrid’s second-half improvement, which helped the Spanish giant win the game and keep pace with league-leading FC Barcelona.

The goal was James’ 12th in league play this season. It’s a healthy return for the attacking midfielder, who joined Real Madrid from Monaco last summer in a transfer worth around $108 million. James also has proven himself to be a long-range specialist in La Liga.
