Kevin Durant isn’t taking his latest setback lying down. Well, not figuratively, at least.
The Oklahoma City Thunder forward indeed was lying down Tuesday after undergoing foot surgery that will end his season. Yet Durant hasn’t lost his fighting spirit, and he demonstrated as much by posting an Instagram photo from the hospital along with a lengthy inspirational message.

Not gonna lie. That got us pretty fired up.
Durant, who hasn’t played since Feb. 19, is expected to miss four to six months but should be ready to go for the 2015-16 season. The recovery process will be long and grueling, but he seems like he’s up to the task.
Plus, he still has his momma.
