It’s safe to say Edmonton Oilers fans are pretty excited about their team landing the No. 1 pick in this year’s NHL draft.
Jersey website CoolHockey.com already is selling sweaters for Connor McDavid, who has been a sensation for the OHL’s Erie Otters and has pretty much a 100 percent chance of being selected first overall.
While it’s nearly a definite that the 18-year-old McDavid will be a member of the Oilers on June 26 (Edmonton would be nuts not to take the Otters center, who had 44 goals and 76 assists in 47 games this season), it’s still a little crazy to dish out $138 for the jersey of a player who isn’t even on the team yet.
Not to mention, who knows how attached McDavid is to the No. 97, which he currently wears in the OHL?
