Gary Striewski Interviews Darth Vader At Red Sox’s ‘Star Wars Night’ (Video)

BOSTON — The force is always with NESN’s Gary Striewski.

It was especially true Monday, however, when the Boston Red Sox hosted “Star Wars Night” at Fenway Park. That’s because Gary had a chance to interview Darth Vader, who was accompanied by his entourage (aka his Stormtroopers).

It was a busy night for “Star Wars” characters, as you’d imagine. Long before Gary tracked down Darth Vader for his exclusive 1-on-1, Chewbacca took the mound and threw out the ceremonial first pitch.

The unique scene was all part of the Red Sox’s May 4 — or “May The 4th Be With You” — celebration, which clearly was a huge hit.
