Rickie Fowler shot an 11-over-par 81 on Thursday at the U.S. Open — even worse than Tiger Woods — but he could’ve been one stroke better with one lucky bounce.
Fowler stepped to the 12th tee at Chambers Bay and ripped his shot toward the flag on the par-4 317-yard hole. The ball came inches from glory.

Fowler has lots of work to do if he’s going to replicate his Players Championship celebration that nearly broke the Internet last month.
