Report: Celtics To Open 2015-16 NBA Season Oct. 28 At Home Vs. 76ers

The Boston Celtics’ 2015-16 schedule officially won’t be released for another few hours, but we now have word of who their opening night opponent will be.

The C’s will begin their regular-season slate Oct. 28 against the Philadelphia 76ers at TD Garden, a source told Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Boston swept Philly last season, going a perfect 4-0 against its Atlantic Division rival. The Sixers’ last win over the Celtics came back on April 14, 2014.

The NBA will release full schedules for all 30 teams at 6 p.m. ET Wednesday.
