Robert Kraft’s words still resonate with New England Patriots fans.
Kraft stepped to the podium following New England’s first Super Bowl win in 2002, just five months after the Sept. 11 attacks.
“Today,” Kraft declared, “we are all Patriots.”
Those words stuck, as Kraft said them again after the Patriots defeated the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX. The phrase even appears on the inside of the Patriots’ most recent Super Bowl rings.
Now, it appears the Patriots have taken the next step.
