The season premiere of “Hard Knocks” was Tuesday night, and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
While this season technically follows the Houston Texans, the first episode sure felt like a “Where are they now?” look at former New England Patriots players and coaches. Vince Wilfork, Bill O’Brien and Mike Vrabel stole the show, but don’t let their performances outshine little-known Sean Hayes.
Hayes, an assistant strength coach for the Texans, made a small but memorable appearance in Episode 1. Hayes probably is a fine strength coach, but his real claim to fame should be this spot-on impression of the late, great “Macho Man” Randy Savage.

Of course J.J. Watt found his way into the scene. Of course.
But for comparison’s sake, here’s Macho Man cutting a promo.
Yeah. Ohhhh, yeah.
