Drew Brees, Saints Give World One Of The Weirdest Fumbles Ever (Video)

The New Orleans Saints look like crap.

The Saints are 0-2 after suffering a 26-19 loss Sunday to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home. New Orleans’ slow start was perfectly summarized on the team’s second possession against the Bucs.

Drews Brees coughed up the football on one of the weirdest fumbles you’ll ever see. The heads-up quarterback recovered the ball after it shot back toward him like a boomerang, but the play resulted in a 21-yard loss and, more importantly, offered more proof that the Saints are a work in progress.

If nothing else, Brees deserves credit for realizing the play was a fumble rather than an incomplete pass.
