Rob Gronkowski made Stephon Gilmore eat his words Sunday.
Gilmore said earlier this week he wanted to cover Gronkowski in the Buffalo Bills’ Week 2 matchup with the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots. The fourth-year cornerback’s wish was granted in the second quarter, and Gronk absolutely torched him for an easy touchdown.

The touchdown grab was Gronkowski’s fourth of the season, as he hauled in three TDs in a huge Week 1 performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Gronk marked the occasion as you’d expect: with an emphatic spike in the back of the end zone.
The Buffalo crowd was rocking early Sunday, especially after the Bills jumped ahead 7-0 on their opening drive. Tom Brady and Co. responded in a big way, though.
Gronk’s touchdown catch, which gave the Patriots a two-score advantage, really silenced the Bills Mafia.
