Well, that escalated quickly.
USC alumnus Will Ferrell led the Trojans out of the tunnel Saturday before their game against Stanford. It was a cool moment involving the popular actor/comedian, but it almost took a turn for the worse.

Ferrell, clearly caught up in the moment, almost got trampled by the entire team. Fortunately, he avoided disaster and fulfilled his duties, much to the crowd’s delight.
The pregame scene actually ended up being a highlight for USC, as the Trojans subsequently suffered a 41-31 loss to the Cardinal.
And as we all know, if you’re not first, you’re last.
