Adrian Peterson showed up on the Minnesota Vikings’ injury report as questionable Sunday, and the reported reason why is pretty embarrassing.
The running back apparently was chewing tobacco on the Vikings’ flight to Detroit for some reason, and when the plane hit some turbulence, things reportedly went awry.
Per FOX broadcast, Adrian Peterson swallowed his chew on a bumpy team flight Saturday. Vomited upon arrival. Hence, injury report downgrade.

Peterson did start against the Lions, so his little mishap must not have been too bad. However, the whole situation makes a very good anti-tobacco PSA.
