The easiest way to put down a team and its fan base is to point out their lack of championships, which is exactly what a New York Giants fan did Monday night.

The Giants went on the road to play the Philadelphia Eagles in an NFC East showdown at Lincoln Financial Field. One Giants fan decided to add some sizzle to the rivalry by wearing an Eagles home jersey that reminded everyone just how many Super Bowls the Eagles have won.

It’s not easy being an Eagles fan, and recent times have been especially difficult. Philly has four NFC Championship Game appearances since 2001, but it’s been to just one Super Bowl, which it lost 24-21 to the New England Patriots in February of 2005.

Overall, the Eagles are 0-2 in Super Bowls.

As for Monday night’s game, the Eagles cruised to a 27-7 win to tie the Giants for the division lead at 3-3. Maybe better times are ahead for the City of Brotherly Love.
