Sunday’s game between the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets got off to a fast and physical start, and the trash talk continued off the field.
Early in the first quarter, Jets safety Calvin Pryor delivered a crushing blow to Dolphins wide receiver Rishard Matthews. The legal hit set the tone for both teams’ afternoons.

After the play, Pryor proceeded to celebrate and pump up the crowd while trainers attended to Matthews. The receiver never returned to the game, but Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill had a few choice words for Pryor in his postgame press conference.
“That’s kind of a classless move to celebrate when a guy is injured.” Tannehill said via NFL.com. “Obviously, it was a good hit, a clean hit. But to celebrate when a guy is down is a classless move.”
Pryor didn’t go without jabbing back at Tannehill on Twitter.
Throw a better ball next time @ryantannehill1 teammate would've never got injured!!! Sorry if you felt I was classless at the moment.

I was definitely celebrating the great play I made. I would never celebrate someone getting injured during the game. C'mon now

As one team looks to make a playoff push, the other might want to start to consider its options for next season.
