Evan Turner Channels Jae Crowder, Hits Absurd Shot That Doesn’t Count (Video)

The Boston Celtics have accounted for two of the NBA’s craziest made baskets this season.

Unfortunately, neither of them have counted.

Chances are you remember Jae Crowder’s full-court heave against the Indiana Pacers last week. Well, Evan Turner tried to do his teammate one better in the third quarter of Tuesday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

After a Bucks turnover, Turner was fouled well before the half-court line but decided to shoot it anyway in hopes of drawing a continuation foul. He didn’t get it, but he somehow nailed the shot.

Yet Turner’s circus shot would suffer the same fate as Crowder’s, as the referees called a foul on the floor.

You can’t make this stuff up.
