Potential 2016 NBA lottery pick Ben Simmons put the country on high alert after posting a double-double in his college debut over the weekend. That trend only continued Monday night.
With the No. 23 LSU Tigers facing unranked Kennesaw State, Simmons put on a show, stuffing the statline with 22 points, nine rebounds, six assists, four steals and two blocks in LSU’s 91-69 victory.
Four of those 22 points came on two stellar dunks.

Simmons’ progress is of particular interest to the Boston Celtics, who own the 1-9 Brooklyn Nets’ unprotected 2016 first-round pick. The 6-foot-10 forward is currently ranked as the No. 2 prospect for the 2016 draft.
