Two activists made quite a fuss at Bank of America Stadium on Monday night during the Carolina Panthers-Indianapolis Colts game, which was broadcast nationally on ESPN.
John Nicholson and Rica Madrid represent an organization called “Dump Dominion” and rappelled themselves over the balcony railing during the second half on Monday, unveiling a banner that read “BoA: Dump Dominion, WeAreCovePoint.org,” according to a press release on the organization’s official website.

The group apparently is upset over Bank of America’s funding of “several planned gas infrastructure projects.” The pair dropped down directly in front of the press box, attracting even more attention.
Security officials at the stadium cleared the entire section below the dangling spectators, causing quite a commotion. Video of the incident can be seen on Deadspin.
