Sunday’s loss probably was a gut-punch for Eli Manning and the New York Giants.
Despite Manning passing for 361 yards and two touchdowns, the Giants were defeated by the New England Patriots, 27-26. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady led the game-winning drive in the fourth quarter, passing for 193 yards in the final frame alone.
Actually, gut-punch probably isn’t the right word. If anything, the Giants probably felt like they were kicked in the neck, a la Ronda Rousey after Saturday night’s shocking UFC 193 knockout by Holly Holm.
One fan was quick to make the comparison, cropping Brady’s head onto Holm’s body (and, of course, Manning’s on to Rousey’s).

While Patriots fans certainly will enjoy that video, maybe it should have been Stephen Gostkowski’s head cropped into the video instead of Brady’s. After all, Gostkowski did drill the game-winning, 54-yard field goal.
