The Carolina Panthers quarterback couldn’t slow down in time following that 47-yard rush, which set up a touchdown pass, one of three Newton tossed in the first half.
He had a scary moment of his own later in the game, though, when Robert Ayers smacked Newton right in the chest with this big hit.
