The New England Patriots had to hear a whole lot of trash talk from the Denver Broncos during the lead-up to Sunday’s AFC Championship Game. And once the game started, the Denver Police Department lobbed a shot of its own.
After the Patriots managed a mere 114 yards during the first half of Sunday’s contest, Denver PD posted the following on its official Twitter account:
😉 MISSING PERSONS unit heading to @SportsAuthField to try & locate Patriots Offense. GO @Broncos
— Denver Police Dept. (@DenverPolice) January 24, 2016
Burn.
It could have been a lot worse for the Patriots, though. Even after playing two of their worst quarters of the season, they trailed by just eight points entering halftime.
