The odds were against 5-foot-9 Isaiah Thomas ever even making the NBA. Now, he’s not only an established player, he’s an All Star.
The Boston Celtics point guard was selected as an Eastern Conference reserve Thursday, and a very appreciative Thomas took to Twitter to thank everyone who made it possible.

While a lot of people helped Thomas achieve one of his dreams, he left out one specific thank you: himself.
After all, it’s his own hard work and determination — the same attributes that quickly made him a fan favorite in Boston — that got him there.
