Roy Halladay Shuts Down Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds; Rocket Fires Back

Roy Halladay’s stance on Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds: Just say no.

Halladay, who won 203 games over parts of 16 seasons with the Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies, ranted on Twitter early Wednesday before the 2016 Hall of Fame voting results were announced. The former major league pitcher insinuated that both Clemens and Bonds used performance-enhancing drugs and thus shouldn’t be enshrined in Cooperstown.

Halladay’s tweet didn’t sit well with Clemens, who again, like Bonds, fell short of the 75 percent vote necessary to gain enshrinement. The Rocket issued a statement in which he fired back with his own PED allegation.

Any rebuttal, Roy?

Well, the Hall of Fame voting process continues to breed arguments, if nothing else.
