It’s hard to find a cooler color scheme in professional sports than baby blue, and the Sacramento Kings are taking full advantage of that.
The Kings in recent years occasionally have rocked throwback baby blue, white and red uniforms, which the team wore during its first five seasons in Sacramento from 1985 to 1990.
Those uniforms are awesome, but Sacramento took retro to a whole different level Friday by transforming its entire home court ahead of the team’s game against the Denver Nuggets.
This court though! #FlashbackFriday https://t.co/pEW3VPPJDi pic.twitter.com/HNO1f17Yzq

The makeover is part of “Flashback Friday,” which will celebrate the Kings’ final season in Sleep Train Arena by recreating the old Arco Arena where the team first played its games in Sacramento. (The Kings will move to the under-construction Golden 1 Center next season.)

Fortunately for the rest of America, this isn’t the only time the Kings will overhaul their arena, as five more “Flashback Fridays” are planned over the remainder of the season.
