Mookie Betts and Travis Shaw probably should stick to baseball.
The Red Sox center fielder and first baseman traded in their bats for some golf clubs Sunday, and while there’s no word on whether or not they kept their golf balls dry, we know the same can’t be said for their cart.
Shaw posted a photo of their golf cart submerged under water in lake, and he made sure his followers knew he wasn’t the one doing the driving.
When Mookie drives….. (And yes that is a golf cart) @mookiebetts 😳 #howdoesthathappen pic.twitter.com/8giEYj71rI

Betts later posted a photo of the accident, too, but he clarified that it rolled into the lake.

For the record I didn't drive into the pond. It rolled in there. Just clearing that up

At least you have bowling, and baseball (of course), Mookie.
