The New York Yankees had an active Monday on Twitter.
The Yankees sent a not-so-nice Valentine’s Day tweet to their archrival, and they also trolled the heck out of the Chicago Cubs for their World Series title drought.
Their first tweet threw some shade at the Boston Red Sox.

And their rival replied with an extremely appropriate GIF of its own.

But the Yankees weren’t done there, although their Twitter exchange with the Cubs actually started with this tweet from a fan.

The Cubs apparently took offense to that, so they created a Twitter poll asking their followers which team is better at tweeting.
Well now you've gone and done it.

And the Yankees responded with a predictable dig at Chicago’s century-plus championship drought.
We're new to this poll thing @Cubs. Do the #Yankees have …

The two sides called for a truce eventually, though.
