Giancarlo Stanton Hit A Home Run So Far It Might Make You Laugh (Video)

Sometimes you just have to stop and admire the sheer power of Giancarlo Stanton.

The Miami Marlins slugger possesses the ability to hit baseballs very far, and it doesn’t matter if he’s doing it in spring training or the regular season. When Stanton gets a pitch he likes, he’s going to hit it, and he’s going to hit a long way.

Stanton was at it again Thursday in a spring training game against the Minnesota Twins. The big outfielder got a mistake from Twins left-hander Tommy Milone, and he didn’t miss.

Now you might watch that video and wonder whether the ball has landed yet. Believe it or not, the ball did re-enter the atmosphere and is not in the Atlantic Ocean or something like that.

The ball obviously cleared the building beyond the left-field fence — where the Marlins’ clubhouse is located — before touching down near Terrence Floyd, a friend of Marlins pitcher Edwin Jackson.

“Whoever hit this must have been mad,” Floyd told the Miami Herald.

One thing is certain: Giancarlo Stanton is ready for the regular season.
