Believe it or not, Vince McMahon’s salary wasn’t the highest at WWE in 2015. But don’t worry. The company’s chairman and CEO is doing just fine.
Kevin Dunn (executive producer, $4.8 million), George Barrios (chief financial and strategy officer, $4.5 million) and Michelle Wilson (chief revenue and marketing officer, $4.5 million) each earned a higher salary than McMahon, whose salary was $3.3 million in 2015, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Paul Levesque, known on screen as “Triple H,” reportedly earned a $3.1 million salary — $1.7 million for his work on screen and $1.4 million for his work as WWE’s executive vice president of talent, live events and creative.
Don’t be fooled by McMahon’s salary figure, though. He’s still the top dog at WWE, evidenced by the killing he made off the company’s stock last year.
Vince McMahon holds more than 39 million shares of WWE stock worth more than $697 million.
