Henry Owens is joining the Boston Red Sox.
One of the organization’s top pitching prospects was recalled Sunday from Triple-A Pawtucket, the team officially announced. Relief pitcher Pat Light also was recalled from the PawSox.
To make room on the 25-man roster, LHP Roenis Elias and RHP Noe Ramirez were optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket after yesterday's game at HOU.

Owens will make his 2016 debut for Boston when he starts Sunday night as the Red Sox wrap up a three-game series against the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park.
He’s 1-1 with a 1.00 ERA and 23 strikeouts over 18 innings for Pawtucket this season.
